Follow these best practices to maximize deliverability and protect your
mailboxes.
Overview
Following best practices for your email senders and cold email mailboxes helps maximize deliverability, protect your domain reputation, and improve campaign results.
Email WarmUp Settings
Use these recommended settings when configuring WarmUp for a new sender:
- Max Daily WarmUp Limit: 30 to 50
- Enable WarmUp email ramp-up
- Initial Daily Emails Limit: 1
- Daily Increment In Emails: 1
WarmUp Duration
- New domains: Wait for 30 days before sending cold emails
- Older domains: 15 to 20 days should be enough
Recommended Senders
Rank | Provider |
|---|---|
#1 | |
#2 |
Other email providers can be a hit or miss, but the best email deliverability can be expected from these two senders only.
Minimum Recommended Mailbox Mix
Start with at least 4 Google Workspace Gmail mailboxes and 4 Microsoft 365 Outlook mailboxes. This mix lets provider matching send each lead's email from a sender on the same provider, which improves inbox placement and sender reputation. If you prefer a hands-off setup, you can order Done-For-You Gmail or Done-For-You Outlook mailboxes directly from SalesBlink.
Domain Setup
Avoid using a subdomain. Using a subdomain is not ideal at all, and your email availability would really be bad if you use it.
Always use a burner domain so that your main domain and mail business domain address is not harmed.
Settings for Email Senders
During WarmUp
Send 1 to 2 cold emails per day while the sender is still in WarmUp. (Optional)
After WarmUp Is Completed
Send 30 to 50 emails per sender per day depending on your reply rate:
- If you have a good reply rate (above 2%), you can go up to 50 per day
- Otherwise, start with 30 per day
Auto Ramp Up for Sender
Use Auto Ramp up for the sender with these settings:
- Initial Daily Emails Limit: 5
- Daily Increment: 3
Note: Apply these sender settings only after WarmUp is completed.
