Overview


When a sequence launches, some leads may be marked as Error on the reports page. This usually happens for one of the following reasons:


  • There is/was an issue with the email sender.
  • The lead has unsubscribed previously.
  • The sequence is set to send only to verified leads, and some leads in the list are not verified.
  • Other errors.


How to Check the Exact Error


On the reports page, find the lead marked as Error. Hover over the red Error pill to see the exact error message for that lead.


How to Fix Error Leads


The fix is simple. Edit your sequence and schedule it for a new date and time.


This will reattempt sending emails to all the leads that previously showed an error. If the issue was temporary, such as a problem with the email sender, the emails will go out successfully on the next attempt.


Tip: Before rescheduling, check your email sender health and sequence settings to make sure the underlying issue is resolved.
