Overview
AI Credits are the on-platform currency that powers artificial intelligence features inside SalesBlink. Every AI-powered action inside the app consumes a small number of credits from your account balance.
AI Credits are used for features such as AI-generated sequences, personalized emails, template creation, AI Reply Agent, and SalesBlink AI Co-Pilot. They are not used when you control SalesBlink through the SalesBlink MCP server from your own AI client.
Note: SalesBlink AI Credits are not the same as OpenRouter credits. If you add your own OpenRouter API key in Account → AI Settings, SalesBlink deducts 0 AI Credits and you pay OpenRouter directly.

SalesBlink AI Co-Pilot costs
SalesBlink AI Co-Pilot charges are dynamic. The number of credits deducted depends on the actions the AI performs during a single response.

Note: A simple question that only reads data costs 1 AI Credit. A response that creates or updates records costs the base credit plus the credit cost of each action performed.
Use your own OpenRouter API key
You can connect your own OpenRouter API key in Account → AI Settings. When your own key is active:
- SalesBlink deducts 0 AI Credits for AI actions inside the app.
- SalesBlink deducts 0 AI Credits for SalesBlink AI Co-Pilot responses.
- SalesBlink deducts 0 AI Credits for AI Reply Agent actions.
- Your OpenRouter API key is used directly, so charges are billed to your OpenRouter account.
Make sure your OpenRouter account has enough prepaid credit to cover usage.
Check your AI Credit balance
To see how many AI Credits you have left, go to Account → Billing → AI Credits. The balance updates as credits are consumed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do SalesBlink AI Credits cover MCP usage?
No. SalesBlink MCP is controlled through your own AI client and your own API key. SalesBlink AI Credits are not deducted for MCP-powered interactions.
Can I avoid AI Credit charges completely?
Yes. Add your own OpenRouter API key in Account → AI Settings. When your own key is active, SalesBlink does not deduct AI Credits for AI features. You pay OpenRouter directly instead.
Why did a Co-Pilot response cost more than 1 credit?
Every Co-Pilot response starts with a base cost of 1 credit. If Co-Pilot also performed actions that created or updated records in your workspace, each action added its credit cost to the total. Reading or looking up data does not add to the cost.
Do AI Credit costs apply per user or per workspace?
AI Credits are deducted from the account balance that is associated with your workspace or plan. Check your plan details or contact SalesBlink support if you are unsure how credits are shared across team members.
What happens if I run out of AI Credits?
AI-powered features will pause until you add more credits, upgrade your plan, or add your own OpenRouter API key.
